Requirements to Sign Up New OPay Account

To register or open another OPay Account, you will need a new phone number, new email address, and BVN and NIN that’s not been used on any OPay Account in the past.

If you cannot provide this type of BVN and NIN, then you can use your Grandma or Grandpa personal documents to open a new OPay Account. This will be stress-free and easy.

However, if you want to use your personal information to sign up a new OPay Account, and you’ve already owned an account with OPay in the past, then you will have to do it without using phone number, email address, BVN or NIN that’s attached to the previous account.

In essence, all you need to open a new OPay Account are new phone number, new email address, and unused BVN and NIN. Once you can provide these information, then you’re free to proceed to the registration form. Read here to learn how to remove BVN from your previous OPay Account.
